 What services does Caring Minds provide?

We offer a range of compassionate, evidence-based mental health services to support you and your loved ones, including:

  • Psychiatric Medication Management & Health Assessments

  • Mental Health Counseling (individual, couples, and family therapy) Emotional & Behavioral Assessments

  • Treatment for Anxiety, Depression, and Mood Disorders

  • Substance Use Counseling and Support

How do I make an appointment?

You can make an appointment by calling our office or visiting our website. We encourage you to reach out at your earliest convenience, as our team is here to answer any questions and assist you in setting up your first visit

What can I expect during my first visit?

Your first visit is an opportunity for us to get to know you and understand your needs. During your appointment, we’ll conduct a mental health assessment to learn more about your emotional health, any challenges you’re facing, and your goals for treatment. We’ll also discuss any questions you may have and work with you to create a personalized treatment plan.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, we accept a variety of insurance plans. To find out if your specific plan is covered, please contact our office, and we’ll be happy to assist you. Our goal is to make mental health care accessible, and we will work with you to understand your options.

Monday - Thursday: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Can my family be involved in my treatment?

Absolutely! We strongly encourage family involvement, as having a support system can be incredibly helpful. If you’d like, your family members can participate in your assessment and treatment planning. We’re here to answer their questions and provide guidance on how they can best support you on your journey to wellness.

Where are your offices located?

We have two convenient locations in Georgia:

  • McDonough Office: 2100 Jodeco Road, McDonough, GA 30253

  • Conyers Office: 1359 Milstead Road NE, Suite 103, Conyers, GA 30012

Our welcoming staff and serene environment are here to help you feel comfortable and supported.

What types of mental health conditions do you treat?

Our team provides support for a wide range of mental health conditions, including: Anxiety and depression Mood disorders Substance use and addiction Relationship and family challenges Trauma-related concerns Attention and behavioral issues If you’re struggling with something not listed here, please contact us. We’d love to discuss how we can help or connect you with the right resources.

What if I’m nervous about starting treatment?

Feeling nervous is completely normal! Starting mental health treatment is a big step, and we’re here to make it as easy and comforting as possible. Our team is experienced, compassionate, and committed to creating a safe space where you can be yourself. We’re here to answer any questions, address any concerns, and help you feel at ease every step of the way.

How long does counseling last?

The length of counseling varies depending on your needs and goals. Some individuals benefit from short-term counseling (a few weeks or months), while others prefer ongoing support. During your first session, we’ll discuss a treatment timeline and make adjustments along the way as needed.
